Saturday saw our first visit to Northside Farm and wow what a lovely venue. Glad to say although it was our first visit it won’t be the last as we have a few more bookings here.
Kev and Hazel took advantage of our ‘Premier Package’ and we provided music from guests gathering right up until the last song of the night.
Now, this wedding was totally unique, especially where the music was concerned. When we met Kev and Hazel wished for Rock and Heavy Metal music which they love, but were concerned about using this throughout their wedding day – “no problem” was our answer.
Music whilst people were gathering waiting for the ceremony included the likes of “Guns n Roses – Welcome to the Jungle” which caused great amusement especially as the Bride and Groom had got their own way !
Hazel loved the song ‘I believe in a thing called love’ and walked down the aisle to that very song – but again a little twist in that the original popular song was not really suitable so a lovely acoustic version was sought.
Throughout the day we played some Heavy Metal and Rock music – but played by a String Quartet which meant people who knew the music recognised the songs and could sing along, those that didn’t could relax and listen to a String Quartet – best of both worlds.
On the evening we did have a large element of similar music, but then later in the evening opened it up to more ‘traditional’ wedding music and the dancefloor never emptied all night.
